McGuigan1978
Plenty of aspiring youth talent has been judged as absolute guff in a rotten team.........you only have to look at Jordan Thomson.Pointing out that Sean Mackie looks terrible seems reasonably relevant to a post where you suggest he could go on to be the best left back we’ve ever produced.

As usual though that is just your opinion, again pretty irrelevant.
Hank Scorpio
I’m pretty keen to hear how a comment about a left back being not very good can be described in any way “irrelevant” when he’s previously been described as the best we’ve ever produced. Unless of course it’s jUsT yOuR oPiNiOn.
Scottydog
Ok Hank, I'll enlighten you. 1 punter comes on and more or less states the kid is a dud citing the fact that he's seemingly struggling in the Dundee side but omits to offer that the Dundee side is pretty terrible and is shipping goals aplenty, on the other hand I've watched this lad quite a bit for us before he left and even at 16 in our U19 side he stood out. To add to this he is still fancied by Hibs coaches to make it at Easter Road so it's obviously not jUsT mY oPiNiOn that he has potential. Also note I never at any point said he WAS the best, instead of leaping in try reading what was said.
Ro Sham Bo
Mackie is now 21 and struggling to hold down a place in a midtable championship team.He would've been a good player for us if we'd kept hold of him but at the moment I'd say its 50-50 whether he'll even still be playing full time football by the time he's 25.

One of our worst players in the last decade though. Means absolutely nothing. I’m not saying that he won’t make a decent career for himself but just because he was highly thought of by Hibs coaching staff also means absolutely nothing as they thought Ross Laidlaw had massive potential as well..

He was never as bad as made out to be by some.

He's well established in his day job, and I understand that that's what suits him best at the moment. Obviously, if Man City came in with the right bid he'd probably think again ...... I dunno Niall, City are looking more and more like yesterdays news, maybe it'd need to be someone bigger.
Scary Bear
I just checked and the last time I saw us win at Starks was the 4-0 thumping of Peterhead, way back on 14th September. Back when we were actually good to watch. Since then I’ve attended a whopping 2 games. The draw with East Fife and the defeat today against Dumbarton. Ro Sham Bo
Putting aside our defensive problems, that's just 4 goals in our last 6 games. Really poor.

Hottoddy22
Baird has been a huge let down. Can't see him staying beyond Jan. Aye Mcglynn has to bring in a new striker in January as well as Callaghan from Stjohnstone

We need wages gone, so you can have Anderson and Callachan for free if you're willing to pay them enough.
