Couldn’t eat it all. I thought it would be thin and oval like the ham, mushroom and mascarpone flatbread style one I normally get from M&S. Nice looking salad though.

Combined and heated the following ingredients in a non-stick pan until it had reduced a bit. 1 small red onion (roughly chopped) 1 sweet red pepper (roughly chopped) 1 tin of tomatoes 1 clove garlic (crushed) Table spoon or so of dried Italian sessoning Table spoon of tomato puree Once I was happy enough with that I blended the sauce so that there were no huge chunks of veg but it wasn't completely smooth either. Added 150ml of cream and left it on a very gentle heat until the pasta cooked. I would say that made 2-3 portions of sauce depending on how much you like.

Also, the “it all goes the same way” argument is one of the most ridiculous points ever made. If that’s your way of thinking then when you’re having breakfast do you just pile sausage, bread, sauce, cereal, milk & coffee all into one big bowl to eat it? Maybe he's in a hurry.

To qualify my statement, I live there! Authentic alfredo is made with butter and Parmesan, not cream. You won’t find pasta with cream or chicken here. At least no authentic restaurants. Sorry if it’s upsetting you all but it’s s fact.
