Anyone in the Leith area might have seen the King's Wark is doing a seafood platter takeaway at the moment. Gf and I got it for Valentine's yesterday and was absolutely terrific. Don't buy that sort of thing often but for what was included £62 feels like good value:

Baguette, Wine, scallop ceviche, half lobster, prawns, mussels, hot and cold smoked salmons, roast salmon, smoked mackerel, crabmeat w apple and dill, smoked fish pate, seared tuna, prawn cocktail, tatties salad and some excellent sauces.

You have my attention.

Sounds great, but can’t see anything on the website?

@19QOS19 can you furnish me with yon Tuscan chicken recipe, or a link to it.... Gogled it but loads of different stuff comes up unsire which is correct

That serves 4 so adjust your ingredients accordingly of course (though you'll want seconds or it for your lunch the next day so a bigger batch won't go to waste). We have the chicken diced rather than full fillets. We use Lazy Garlic as well and Philadelphia.

Homemade donner flatbreads last night. Tasted about as close to a takeaway as you could get

Get the recipe posted then. Been meaning to try this for ages

We had assemble-at-home Pizza on Saturday. It was from the Storehouse for those that live up here. Was tremendous.

Left - chorizo and pepper

Right - haggis, black pudding, red onion and tomato

I stopped there in July when I was up and sat on the grass in glorious sun eating the best fish and chips!
