Jacksgranda Posted February 23, 2015 Share Posted February 23, 2015 Snowed last night, and there was a blizzard blowing when I got up, so decided to wait until the rush hour was over to avoid my blood pressure matching my wife's. Absolutely horrendous conditions half way to Coleraine, traffic ground to a halt, road a sheet of ice, heavy snow showers, eventually got moving (although nothing going in the opposite direction) - half way up Garvagh Main Street conditions changed and road became perfectly driveable. I had my flabber gasted when her manager accepted it. We had a wifie a couple of years ago who took a dive in the box one morning claiming to be completely snowed in. Unfortunately she forgot there was someone who lived literally round the corner from her working about two offices down the corridor who was able to confirm that where she lived had hardly had any snow at all.
