mizfit
Ditto and Ditto, checked my account yesterday and thought I'd had an expensive night but not too bad. Checked today and the contactless payments in the pub have appeared Contactless is the best idea when your drunk. Turns into the worst once you sober up.
Widge
Contactless is the best idea when your drunk. Turns into the worst once you sober up. Depends where you are and what you're doing. I remember I had about £70 worth of jaegerbombs on my card one night and couldn't even remember being in the place on George Street. Still must have been a good night, so didn't really care. Granny Danger
If you make contactless payments whilst inebriated you are not liable for the debt.

Ahh fair enough, where'd you end up? Not going to lie, I prefer Edinburgh over Glasgow for a night out, but that's purely based on the fact that much like yourself whenever I go to Glasgow nowhere let's you in after about 12 for some reason. So the few nights I've done there are always disappointing. Actually think Dundees the best place for a night out!
1320Lichtie
To be honest I'm one of the people that think a night out can be good anywhere depending on who you're with but Glasgow has a bit of everything IMO and I love Firewater.

Shandon Par
I'm too old for a night out. I prefer a civilised lunch that descends into chaos and I'm back in bed or at least the sofa by about 10pm.

The last time I was in Glasgow for a night out everywhere rejected us. Ended up in a goth nightclub. Which was frightening.

There's a difference between ignoring a one off parking fine that's too expensive and legally risky for them to pursue, and building up £24,500 in charges after countless warnings by continually parking in the same place.

Should have headed down grassmarket and done a pub crawl before ending up in some fine, very sticky establishment.
sjc
Glasgow has better clubs but by far the worst bouncers. c***s, each and every one of them. Edinburgh is more about pubs imo.
sjc
I've picked up two part time jobs this week in addition to my main part time job. Not bad for someone bluffing their way as an English teacher!

This, she's admitted she was the driver so they know for sure who the contract was with, she's broken a parking contract 245 times (based on the assumption it is £100 a notice), they have even appeared to have been in discussions about this with the offer of a parking permit being declined. She's made it too easy for them to go to court and get the win. Now her stupidity will mean they can probably cite this case on their notices and con more people into paying up when it can be safely ignored if it's a one off charge and the only information they have is when the charge occurred and who the registered keeper of the vehicle is.
