sjc
Was out with my daughter and in-laws to watch the Mikoshi festival in town today when someone asked my father in law if I was American, to which he replied, "no, English"........I nearly went Malcolm Tucker on his arse! In fairness, he did profusely apologise when I corrected him.

The new Kia Ceed
Hi troops. Today, Sat 6th October will probably mean very little to most of you. For me it'll remain etched in my mind forever. When I rejoined this forum for the 283rd time I thought I might be finished. I thought I'd be washed up. I thought the common (non-moderator) member would have thought I was actually a homophobe. When I sat down with fresh A4 refill pad number 283 to chart my username, I scribbled down - "rep neutral by 100 posts" in bold blue lettering. I underlined it four times! I underestimated you all. I forgot that behind every username is a user with a name ( mine is Grahame for example). I've remembered what this site is about and it's the people. Some of you might work in B & Q, some of you might be hedgefund managers. Some of you might be forced into cycling, others might own a snazzy sports car. We are a broad church but it's nevertheless still a church, and I thank the congregation for the 121 green votes from the bottom of my very deep (Perthshire) wallet. You know who you are xxx
