Boghead ranter
Lemon curd on a nice wee fruit scone (with thick butter) is the business.
Bairnardo
I only discovered this recently having never been a fan of lemon curd, but its one of those things that homemade is almost like a totally different product. Its immense. If you like the stuff in jars its worth trying to make it.

Do a lot more homemade stuff now after losing weight and it’s quite common that the ready made stuff in shops is absolute poison in comparison to making it yourself. My most recent one is guacamole. How old el paso are allowed to market that green gloopy vomit as guacamole is a crime.

However, a few moments on the Googleplex suggests it's quite easy. I think I have plans for at least a portion of my afternoon now.

I was going to make a joke about GD being thrown out after the legendary chemical indicator showed up his "snorkelling" but then I remembered that Edinburgh cooncil swimming pools used to ban snorkels for some reason.
