Does anyone remember about 8-9 years back when the latest fad was to have a "chain" attached to your jeans?

I've just found my old "chain". I feel utterly ashamed that I was ever seen in public with a bike component draped from my trousers

Was that not mainly a 'skater' thing, along with the huge stupid trainers?

Oh God, yes! At our Primary school at least, it was the "in" look and there were those huge f**k-off trainers called D2s or something stupid like that.

My bird's got a pair of they daft big chunky boots with metal all over them (cannae mind what they're called) I refuse to let her where them, she's a grown woman, not a teenage goth. Although, she has owned them since she was a teenage goth.

Edit: They're called New Rock boots.

My flatmate has a pair of DCs, and he's 21. Frankly, they look comfy as f**k, and I'd possibly consider buying a pair if I wasn't absolutely rookit.

DC's look brilliant, but they're not actually all that comfortable.

You want to be getting yourself a pair of Etnies.

Driving thru Whitburn today and counted 15 or so "NEDS" all with there trackies tucked intae there socks, nae tops on and almost all of them had there hands stuffed firmly doon the front of said trackies. If that was older gentlemen, they would all get lifted. I think the doofuses at Holyrood need to start an "introduce a NED to your fists" day, as soon as possible pls.

At virtually every football match that's televised with a big screen in the stadium, when the camera goes onto people in the crowd they always notice themselves and start waving frantically at the screen. Why is this? How do these people even notice they're on the screen? I have to say that since Hampden put the screens up I could've been on it any number of times and not noticed. I only really look at it to see how Kenny Miller managed to f**k up his latest chance, or to see how long there is to go.

Yeah I think they were DCs. As an impressionable 10 year old I drew the line at getting the Clarke's imitations.

Clarks shoes are one of lifes great investments.

Take a full suitcase to italy. Sell, Enjoy your holidays and still return with plenty cash.
