Gaz FFC
Cheers guys, Michael that's exactly my thinking, I just can't comprehend it, I saw him last week, makes me think about what can happen (I suppose all deaths do) but I guess it's all luck, he was heavily involved in sports and was really quite healthy. At first it made me think what's the point of exercise, but then I wondered if perhaps he would have passed away sooner than he did if he wasn't as fit. Their was a piece on the radio Clyde news about him there. Very sad.
dave258
I woke up 45 minutes before my alarm went off at 7am and felt wide awake. I've felt well rested and generally cheerful all morning.

jamamafegan
A new species of snake has been discovered. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-16486549 Stunning creature. I think it's amazing how we are still discovering animals like this given how far the human race has expanded and explored this planet. Who knows what else is out there...

Guest The Phoenix
I'm starting to think I might have borderline insomia. Even after struggling to sleep on two nights previous, tonight gave me even less to the point that I don't I properly nodded off once. Relax, things always seem better after a good night's sleep.

lanky_ffc
For my new job I get the bus in and have been buying a ticket which allows you 10 journeys within a month. I had to buy a new one today and had forgotten the name so asked for "a ticket for 10 rides". The bus driver laughed and said, "if only you could get 10 rides for £30!". Brightened up my morning. yoda
Those wacky Americans and their zany news channel segments. You know what sounds like a good idea? Phoning up Kerry Kennedy at 5am and asking her what she remembers about her father's assassination.

Same here when I do mine, only mine will be taking adults out on fieldtrips along the coast and halfway up hills... a ticking timebomb. The last time I led a public trip over rocky ground, one 80 year old on holiday stubbornly came along and ignored my instruction not to take a shortcut. He fell over, cut his temple wide open, blood everywhere, screaming kids, you get the picture. Taking professional adults out is worse than helping with primary school trips. Most schoolkids actually do what you say and don't have the "Ach, I'll be awrite" mentality.
