Nothing more satisfying than producing a Bakewell tart and shoving your partners double decker pus under the covers. I suppose if you bake enough the colours come in handy with knowing which one to use without having to check it if you use them enough.I dont bake either i cook and do it by guessing and throwing stuff together. Cooking is the tits when you are in the mood. Make an awesome hot and sour curry and my lemon grass and thai chilli sauce for duck is amazing. I hadn't been able to get a hold of my dad since yesterday and I was worried so I left work early and nipped round to his house. No answer at the door so I let myself in and found him upstairs in bed. He'd been dead for a day the doctor reckons. I'm totally numb at the moment. Just don't feel you need to be strong for anyone, everyone deals with these things differently. I lost my own dad a couple of years ago, reasonably young in his late 50s so I can relate to how your feeling.
