I'm not entierly sure why, I don't believe in any higher power or afterlife let alone any christain god and my sister said she couldn't be arsed. I also tend to find myslef screaming "Bollox" in my head at the minister whenever I go to church. I guess it just wouldn't be Christmas without my one church visit a year. It's only a short service so it will be over quickly. Might be worth it if we get to sing Oh Come All Ye Faithfull, good tune. I have to admit, I am really struggling to imagine a service of peace and goodwill...delivered in German. I have German relatives, I have heard the German language. I am pretty much the only person on the planet who enjoys belting out Adeste Fideles with the tenor line when everyone else is singing the melody in English. My dad always does a short Christmas Day service as after the Watchnight he can't be fucked. Hopefully some of the kids will bring in some decent presents to play with.
