Off work tomorrow and was buzzing for an evening of relaxing before a day off but starting on the booze at 2 has taken its toll. 4 in the pub straight after work and a few bottles since I've got home and now I'm just a sort of fuzzy sleepy and just want to go to bed. Think I'm getting old.

That looks like the legs they give returning heroes, who tramped on a land mine.

My physio told me I had the calf strength he only normally saw in pro basketball players. Seems a strange comparison. I don't know if that's good, bad or indifferent.

How many basketball players had he seen?

You'd make a shite tv critic. Why don't you watch it and report back?

So far they have talked about the **** and Celtic. A bit like watching three men reading the Daily Record sports pages out loud, with one person staring, slightly above you, looking as though he isn't there. His gaze upon the top right of your shoulder is unsettling and fascinating in equal measure.

G, I've said it before and I'll say it again.

I started at the bottom and liked it that much I've stayed here.

Doesn't make you an idiot mate. You took a punt to try and get something better, gave it a go and your no worse off. Maybe no better off, but no worse off. Hopefully some of the things that made you consider leaving have changed in the time you've been away.

Who needs, Barry Norman,
When we've got JMO?

Said who needs Barry Norman,
When we've got JMO

(I know he was a film critic but couldn't think of a famous tv critic)

Smaller for variety but none close. Bigger store is cliquey which I didn't like but easy to get to and straight forward work. A simple life in a big store. Kinda felt I was better than that. Clearly not but going forward it's correct decision I reckon

Glad you gave it a try, learnt a lot about yourself and in no worse a position. Sounds worthwhile mate. Most importantly it's paying the bills and keeping you in irn bru!
