I had the idea that we should make a donation to cash for kids instead of doing one but apparently they are fun. Is it just me that thinks all the lazy people in the office skive off work to do secret santas or ‘decorate the office’ and it ends up taking them the full day whilst I have to do the stuff they are skiving from? Think your suggestion is fine. We don't do secret santa and in lieu of xmas cards anyone who wishes can donate £5. Those who do go into a draw with the winner deciding which charity all the money goes to. Was quite impressed with that set-up last year. My last job did cards and every year I told folk not to bother giving me one as I wouldn't be dishing any out.
