I'd imagine the kids of porn actors will have been brought up to realise that sex work isn't a big deal, if the parents have any sense. The proper response to "I knocked one out to your mum last night" is probably "hope you enjoyed it, but a bit weird that you feel the need to tell a child about it, you proto-beast". Any parent in such a situation who isn't honest with their kids about their career is opening themselves up to a world of hurt.

Thora Birch's parents are former porn stars Carol Conners and Jack Birch, who were apparently pretty transparent about their life of shagging and she hasn't seemed to have suffered as a result, although they're probably a bad example as they've been considered responsible for ruining her career by being creepy stage parents who made employing her a massive arseache. Also, they encouraged her to do nude scenes (like in American Beauty) at the age of 15, which is icky as all f**k.
