I was just saying the other day that it's good that the Vuelta have a lot more barriers and policemen than at say the Tour where there have been plenty of incidents and near misses recently. Froome did well to limit his losses although how much of that was due to the group not working too well or hesitating before going for it I don't know. Contador has to take out the 3.13 min gap over the two Esp MTF climbs, to Sierra de La Pandera & Alto Hoya de la Mora, to get right in the mix. Noticeably, when Nibali went off the front, he was slowly reeled back in. Well defended by Sky today, just keeping everything under control, as they did yesterday. Can only see him spanking them all for another min or two in the ITT. Close today again and up to third.
