Does anyone have any experience in getting back to the city centre from Hampden after a gig? I know the score when the football is on but there are extra trains running then and I'm not sure the same applies to gigs.

Sure there are plenty of buses going up Cathcart Road to the City Centre but it's been a long time so I could be wrong.

Guess I'm not going to the Hydro any time soon. What a load of shite. Good luck with yours when it comes.

Have you tried using Ticket Scotland instead of Ticketmaster?

I never even thought about going to their store either, I think I just expected it to be sold out. Fabulous. Better let the album grow on me then.

Never been to the O2 Academy but as one of my favourite bands, Tedeschi Trucks  is coming in November I took the plunge.

What”s the sound like as I have poor hearing?

It was ok when I watched Future Islands last month. Cost of drink is a joke with that venue.

Beach house was really good on Monday at the Barrowlands, which they was a lot better than the last time I saw time in 2018 in London.  I was surprised how young the crowd was considering Beach House has been going for over 15 years. It was good to see Barrowlands move with the times and allow card payments.

Aaron West and the Roaring Twenties were an absolute delight at The Garage in London tonight. The concept of the band is superb, the band was tight and I am a massive fan Dan Campbell's voice.

It also kick-starts a small run of gigs for me with Brian Fallon tomorrow, The Script on Friday, Ludovico Einaudi on Saturday and then Bob Vylan on Monday. Also have Slam Dunk festival next Friday. A nice variety there to keep me ticking over.

Anyone got tickets for the ABBA thing in London? There's a live band to accompany the 'abbatars' so counts as a proper gig IMHO.

I'm going on Monday night and really interested to see how it will look.

See you there, can’t wait! I’ve always found the O2 to be a good venue, except for the drinks price. You should have a great night

Also yesterday purchased a Perfume Genius ticket for August.

Between now and then i have Pixies, 2,000 Trees and the Bluedot Festival already sorted to look forward to. Decent little summer line-up

Got tickets for the missus and daughters as we'll be in London for a few days in August, so I'll be very interested to hear what it's like.

In that London Town for Mogwai at Ally Pally. Gorgeous day here.

Loved the train journey down, well the bit to Alnwick at any rate, before the industrial hellhole of middle England took over.

Support is bdrmm (sp?) and Beak.

First time visiting the Ally Pally. Noting it is an absolute bugger to get to, even from my hotel at LKX which I assumed would be reasonably close.

I've only been to Ally Pally the one time, seeing Suede a good number of years back, but I recall even after getting off the underground, it being an absolute utter cnut of a trek uphill walking in the Palace grounds for fucking ages before getting there...!!
