The Rip thing didnt initially bother me as i had assumed that he was one of these multi billionaire nutballs, but turns out to be he has a bit of dough behind him but not really enough to stake someone else those levels. Effectively buying two seats at nosebleedy stakes. Sometimes people just make weird moves, make weird calls and just in general - play hands weird. No where near the same level but i watched as 2 lower stakes players on one of the tables about a week ago got in to a strange spot. Cash table, 5 handed 50p/£1 blinds £340 effective stack Raised utg by table loony to £4.50 Re raised by relatively experienced player in CO to £11 Everyone else folds except loony who repops to £40 flat and is called. £81.50 pot Flop A 4 5 rainbow. Loony checks, CO bets £34, loony raises all in and CO snaps. Pot is now around £630 2 hands flipped Loony 89 clubs CO KQ off. CO wins King High Go figure. I have won plenty of games with mates and been placed top 5 in a good few live tourneys with 50+ players. However I wouldn't have a clue about percentages or anything like that. The amount of abuse I have gotten from lads saying things like what are you playing that for? Or i should have done this.
