This isn't having a go, I mean lots of people clearly use twitter (including many of my friends), and on occasion, I've googled it if I want to see breaking news (it was handy during the Rangers news), but I find most of the stuff to be a bit vacuous and empty, and I find the character limit precludes discussion. If there is something I want the opinion of famous people, then I'd rather read a detailed blog! Likewise, I don't really see why I'd follow most of p&b... This isn't having a go or anything like that, I just don't see why it is any better than alternatives that already exist, and god knows I've tried to get into it! Honestly, other than the folk I've met, I quite often forget who is who. People's posting personality seems to differ on Twitter, probably because people talk about the real world. Mostly. Possibly. Yeah I sort of use it like an extension of P&B rather than a completely different tool altogether. It's like another wee section of the site. You only have to read the opinion of those you want to and it's all condesended into a timeline so you don't have to go trawling around. I'm the opposite. I tend to think Twitter comes into its own for real time reaction to stuff.
