I think it was following the case of the 400m runner with the unnaturally high testosterone levels. To exclude her would be discriminatory and the next step would be trans people bringing a legal case. The AFL (Aussie Rules) women's league has said, from the start, that trans women are allowed to play. There's one player who used to play AFL in the men's leagues before their transition. It's going well for them. Obviously easier to allow in a team sport where greater muscle mass and other biological differences aren't as important when it's one player out of 15 as opposed to one v one like Tennis or athletics.
19QOS19
The works Christmas do should be consigned to the bin.I suppose it depends how you get on with your colleagues. The majority of folk at my work are spot on and I have no issue socialising with them outside work. I've had drinks with some of them and days out in the past, because they are decent. Compare that to my last job where I couldn't stand a lot of them in the workplace so had absolutely no desire to spend time with them socially. If you like the folk I see no issue with it but I'd find it strange going for a night out with people you don't really like just because it's Christmas.

You are aware that it's the traffic on the slip roads job to adjust their speed to merge? Not the other way round? Yes, she's being a bit of a twat but she's actually not really doing anything wrong in that scenario. There's no rule saying you have to move into lane 2 to 'let people on' so to speak. Sure, the good guys do but not everybody is a good guy. I see plenty people bombing down slip roads these days assuming people will move for them. Or oblivious to the fact that they're actually meant to give way. They're arsehole's.

The onus needs to be on the car in the slip road to give way. It's not always possible to move into the right lane if someone is overtaking you at the same time. Saying that, it's shit behaviour not to move over if you can and can actually be pretty dangerous not to.

No, you don't. Look at a slip road. Those dotted lines at the end actually mean give way. You're meant to stop (or give way) if you get that far. Good luck joining if you do and it's busy. Forgive me but I find the fact you think traffic on the carriageway has to 'give way' because the car on the slip is indicating a little scary. As @Dons_1988 says, it is the responsibility of the driver on the slip road to adjust their speed to join the carriageway in an appropriate gap. Not the other way round. You have to bare in mind that any traffic in lane one may not be able to move over for you and plan accordingly. Planning is the important thing. Sadly lacking with a lot of drivers these days. The big problem these days IMO is that a lot of people aren't doing this (not just in this scenario), at all, then get caught out, usually with a hooting of the horn, flashing of lights, shaking of fist, blame somebody else who is probably not doing anything wrong. Always have a plan. Always have an escape route. I'm no expert, just enthusiastic and enjoy my driving/riding. So I like to drive/ride as well as I can.

I got the impression that by ‘tearing up the left lane’ he meant that she was undertaking cars in the middle lane by going inside them, rather than overtaking in the the 3rd (Right Hand) lane. In which case it’s not only dangerous but incredibly stupid especially passing a junction slip road. The amount of pile ups you see on the motorway due to driver carelessness and exactly this type of driving behaviour! Jeez

She's a c**t if that's what was happening. Regardless of that though, that doesn't shift the responsibilities of the drivers on the slip road. They should still adjust to fit in behind/in front of her. Then give her loads of abuse/brake check as appropriate The witch that she is 20 minutes ago, Jacksgranda said: They're indicators, not rightofwaycators. Apart from BMW's that is. And Audi's. Find this funny considering you openly admit to speeding.
