George Parr
"QOTSA to play several shows in special venues across the UK pre summer to support the re-release of their debut album on Domino Records." From Zane Lowe's twitter. Could be quite good - if they play stuff mostly from the debut album.

As long as they play one up here, never seen them so would be willing to travel for it.

K.T
Anybody remember Battle for Ozzfest? What a show that was. They should really get that going again. It beats the shit out of X-Factor anyway. Why have Matt Cardle and that black women that dances around in american football gear when you could get these band's battling against each other on a saturday evening
Jam
Anybody remember Battle for Ozzfest? I don't think I ever watched it but did Unearth not take part? If so, they did pretty well out of it.
K.T
I don't think I ever watched it but did Unearth not take part? If so, they did pretty well out of it. I don't remember them being on it. There was an episode where the competitors had to play with bands like Lamb Of God and Darkest Hour. Unearth might have been one of those bands.

Can't miss out on the opportunity. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37WcvbjDRm8 Not a fan of much of their stuff but this song is an absolute beast.
K.T
I absolutely agree!!!! Not the big Darkest Hour fan but what a fuckin song that is man! particularly the part with Tomas Lindburg screaming "one nation under the gun". I always crank the volume at that part. Have a green dot.
Mik
The Haunted - No Ghost New song from their up and coming album "Unseen". Sounds good to me bit different from what they usually sound like, it's quite a heavy slow paced song.
Sunrise
Anyone thinking of High Voltage Festival yet or been last year? Not announced their Metal Stage lineup yet but they got Opeth in their debut year. Keen on Dream Theatre and Judas Priest there (both more classic rock though).

DomDom
1. ...And Justice For All 2. The Black Album 3. Master of Puppets 4. Load 5. Ride the Lightning 6. Kill em All 7. Death Magnetic 8. Reload 9. St. Anger Don't feel right including a comp. like Garage Inc. Also, I'd say S&M is their best release if we include comps!

NorthernLights
After 21 years, doom metal legends Cathedral have revealed that they are to disband. Get full details inside. After 21 years of being one of the most celebrated bands in metal, Cathedral have announced that they are to disband. The plan is to play live dates for the rest of the year and to release one more studio album in 2012. Vocalist Lee Dorrian has said: “It’s simply time for us to bow out. Twenty one years is a very long time and it’s almost a miracle that we managed to come this far! “We’ve had a great time during Cathedral’s existence and it has literally been our life. It’s just time to move on and leave our recorded legacy to linger”. http://www.metalhammer.co.uk/news/cathedral-announce-retirement-plans/
