Saw Liam Dick play for Stranraer on Saturday and he was decent without being outstanding. The only thing that really stood out was his name on the shirt being like a magnet for the inevitable abuse by a few Ayr fans

Lucky Lewis Small wasn't stood beside him

Agee with Marsh on the goalkeeping situation, it's hardly hindered us this year. Think Keithgy's still got the hump cause he hasn't been able to mention how much of an arse Bowman is recently.

Dreadfully sorry about my absence and lack of saying Bowman is an arse of late.

Only disappointed in the sense we don't have cover for either full back at the moment. Suppose Vaulks could fill in at right back but you wouldn't want to move him from midfield.

Finlayson and Gallagher isn't it?

Could do with a specialist first choice right back right enough, I'd rather see Muirhead playing centrally.

Not that McCrackens done much wrong, but Watson can be distressingly error prone

Doubt Vaulks will end up at another Scottish Club. The only team that could feasibly afford him would be Celtic, and I can't see that happening.

I think he'll see out the season with us and move down south for a very tidy 6 figure sum in the summer, adopting cult hero status amongst some fans for years to come.

Personally don't know about vaulks in the English champ. Great player for us obviously but at that level he is too small for center half and his passing isn't up to scratch to play center mid. Hopefully after a couple more years playing regularly in central midfield he may become good enough to considerably step up a level but at the moment he is league one standard for me.

If Duffie was fit I'd like to see us play 3-5-2. Always thought it was the best formation of you have a couple of good wingbacks because if they can use the width of the park then it more or less guarantees you will dominate the midfield battle

It would also fit the likes of Taiwo and Sibbs who are more naturally central players but get pushed wide as a result of the 4-4-2

Rogers

Duffie-Vaulks-McCracken-Grant-Leahy

Taiwo-Kerr-Sibbs

Baird-O'Hara

Not bad. Well, apart from Duffie being mince now even when he is fit. And we're playing pretty well in a lot o the games just now, changing things up would be daft.

If we were struggling though, I'd like us to try this.

I've thought about the 3-5-2 for months now but I'd like to keep Vaulks in the center of the park and bring Muirhead into center half. This means out of Vaulks, Sibbs, Alston, Kerr and Taiwo there is only 3 getting a game in midfield which seems silly.
