Russ
Another decent signing for Queens in Ciaran McKenna. Thought he was decent with us apart from that farce with Edge against Morton. He started off well when we played a back 3 and he had Dixon next to him but then faded badly. He’s probably slightly better than Brad McKay but still garbage.

Chinatoon Bairn
Going to get a little Brad McKay sighting tonight by the sounds of the McGlynn interview!
FFC 1876
What a depressing update, 3 out of the 6 new signings out injured for tonight as well as Aidan Nesbitt. 1 or 2 more signings left in the budget and then bolstered through loans later on in the window. Also sounds as if they are struggling to find a striker to sign which isn't really a surprise but it is extremely worrying. Ironic that we switched to training on grass, partly, to avoid injuries and we've ended up losing a whack of the team in the 1st week

Watched a ton of his interviews when raith were down here with us and almost every pre matcher was depressing as f**k. Seems like most of the injuries are at worst back after Stranraer. No panic necessary
Kevin James Left Knee
McGlynn listing a good number of injuries that the team already has for this friendly. Fek. Edited June 24, 2022 by Kevin James Left Knee
Guest Ecosse83
Looks like we will be relying on Mcglynn improving what we already have, let’s just hope an actual manager can get more from the group
Rugster
I really like his interview style, I know he's quite dour but there's no flannel and plenty of honesty. Pity about the injury situation but got the vibes none were concerning long term.
ilostmyself
Looking a bit grim squadwise for tonight but suppose nothing else too surprising. I think we're in for a season rebuilding rather than dominating, another couple in permanently and then the rest on loan late in the window.

I agree with your thoughts here & not dissimilar to Jim Jeffries our best manager in past 30 years

How many people have worked for poor management and are de motivated over a working career? near everybody. If people get on their backs whether that's on forums or running onto the pitch before a ball is kicked is counterproductive. Suspect a few might just surprise a few folk
Jackie Myles
4 or 5 under 18s training with the first team squad. Hopefully shut up the folk whining on here about nowhere for them to go etc
ShaggerG
Can Sean Mackie play centre half? It's either that or somebody from the under 18s! Unless we finally discover Jaime Wilson's best position? Edited to say that I've just Googled Mackie and he's smaller than me and I used to spy on snow white in the shower!! Under 18 it is then.
