Bairnardo
Anyway all that really matters is that we don't have enough quality up front. We'll spin it a load of ways but so far, no one has looked like finishing a chance.
FFC 1876
Morrison doing Morrison things yet again, brilliant build up then a shocking final shot. Alegria's held the ball in well and brought others in to play but he doesn't look like scoring.
Bairnardo
Morrison doing Morrison things yet again, brilliant build up then a shocking final shot. Alegria's held the ball in well and brought others in to play but he doesn't look like scoring. He had a weird period in the middle of the half where he suddenly stopped winning the ball and his defender just seemed to leave him behind. Needs to remember to go towards the ball sometimes. But aye, his hold up has been decent. Morrison must have had 4 on target? Keeper has hardly has to move for any of them. All just woefully tame efforts.
Grangemouth Bairn
I don’t think we’ll score many goals this season !!
Harry Kinnear
Checked the possession stats and it says Airdrie 52% to our 48%. Hasn’t seemed like that watching it, I felt we’ve had way more possession than them.
Harry Kinnear
Just now, Grangemouth Bairn said: I don’t think we’ll score many goals this season !! I agree, don’t think we’ll lose many but unless the two new boys on the bench start banging them in can’t see where they are coming from.
Tea and Busquets
We’ve been the better team IMO. Unlucky with the goal, what are the chances of that ball deflecting right to the path of their striker 1 in 100. Morrison has been terrible, so greedy and his decision making is awful again. McGuffie has been our best player. Comical for the ref not to add any extra time on btw.
FFC 1876
Nesbitt with a decent chance at the end too and he sclafs it off the first defender. An incredibly flukey goal from Airdrie too with a massive deflection taking it into the path of Gallagher to tap home from 5 yards. Hopefully Burrell and Lawal show something when they come on in the second half. Edited August 6, 2022 by FFC 1876
Bairnardo
McGlynn is going to have to change something here. We can't keep banging away doing the same. We need someone to get us back in the game otherwise we creat another half's worth of wee half chances before Airdrie knock in a second.

Yes, hopefully we see the 2 new lads soon. They can’t be any worse than what we’ve done up front so far.

Guest
That midfield is falling further and further out of the game. It’s still last season’s players that are still killing us.
18BAIRN76
So many soft touches in this team it’s infuriating. Hope the new boys who com on can add something

You can't polish a turd, they absolutely should not be at the club after last season but it'll take a miracle to shift them.
Guest
Absolutely no goals in this team…….none. Posting that now in the hope that it puts a hoodoo on me. McGuffie and Nesbitt back to just wanting to play tippy tippy. No drive at all apart from the defence.
Bairnardo
Ref has done us there. But the midfield has utterly disappeared this half.
Grangemouth Bairn
It’s going to be a long, long season.
PedroMoutinho
Frankly we’re going nowhere this season unless a good number of last season’s failures are emptied and replaced by better quality. 5 points behind Dunfermline and Airdrie with only 2 games played is just not good enough if we have any aspirations of promotion. Any game we go behind we are losing because we can’t score goals.
18BAIRN76
never a corner but totally hamstrung by last years serial losers. only people I feel more sorry for than us watching this is McGlynn. Massive job on his hands. Nesbitt, McGuffie and Hetherington being anywhere near the starting 11 is a shambles.
Guest
Brutal defending. No protection from the midfield for the defenders. They’ve fooled us all again. Nesbitt in particular shouldn’t get near a Falkirk jersey again.
