Gordopolis
When you put it like that it sounds like we're heading for another Vogts-esque dark age of having to chuck caps around to see who of a mediocre bunch sinks or swims.
RandomGuy.
Team in 5 years? Heres my guess... Marshall Paterson - Hanley - Cooper - Robertson McArthur - Mowatt Snodgrass - Gauld - Ritchie Rhodes
1320Lichtie
Marshall Patterson Hanley © Cooper (guy at Leeds eh?) Robertson Armstrong McGinn Fraser Allan Gauld Watt/Cummings Probably be nowhere near it but tried to use as many new players as I could.

Tulloch Gorum
I remember watching the cricket a few years ago, and the commentary team were bigging up the potential of a certain young English batsman (whose name escapes me). Michael Holding agreed that he was a good player, "but by now we should be talking about his achievements, not his potential." It seems to me that after every failed qualification campaign, or with every new initiative about about developing/ updating the Scottish game, you can listen to Sportsound or read the papers and there's bound to be people talking about the potential of the emerging generation of players, telling us that we've got a good batch coming though. But what have any of them achieved, really?
leomessi1984
Here's my guess (being very optimistic here!!) Ryan Fulton Donald Love Grant Hanley © Danny Wilson/John Souttar Andrew Robertson John McGinn Jay Fulton Stuart Armstrong Ryan Gauld Barrie McKay Jordan Rhodes No doubt be completetly off!
Dunning1874
If Barrie McKay ever gets into a Scotland squad it really will be time for us to f**k this international football lark for a game of soldiers.
No_Problemo
I see the TAMB is discussing the possibility of Caulker being called up after he was quoted saying he might change allegiance. Straight in the team for me. Would also give us the possibility of playing Martin at right back.

Lex
Donald Love getting his top flight debut just now for MU. Great news... Born and bred in Rochdale but has represented Scottish youth sides. Get him in the senior squad before he changes allegiances to England!
cmontheloknow
Didn't have a wonderful debut IMO - Trevor Francis picked him out as making a 'terrible' mistake not long after coming on. Be interesting to see how quickly he reappears - United's right back crisis could see him starting this week. Gordopolis
Didn't realise he was a RB. Thought he was a CB. Still, Scotland are thin in both positions so its good to see him coming through

gannonball
And this is one of the worst Man U sides in a generation. Could be another Tyler Blackett They should recall Blackett imo, only fair that we reluctantly send him back.
