They were actually pretty decent for the first 20 minutes of each half, but it's actually fascinating watching the long-term project of shitness. I'd say it all started in the summer of 2017 when they went mad with the Lukaku money, and it's just coming to the natural endpoint of that mismanagement.

There are probably a maximum of nine points available from the remaining fixtures, and if they can get to the Bournemouth game on the last day of the season just needing a win then they've done pretty well for themselves.

They're not going to get 9 points from the remaining fixtures - best is 2 draws at Leicester and Wolves and 3 against Bournemouth (assuming Bournemouth are safe by that time), which won't be enough, null points at Brighton and home to Manchester City.

Everyone else will be picking up points.

Time will tell how valuable a point it was, but with two of the best teams in the league still to come, any points dropped against the dross will feel like missed opportunities.

Wow! That's not a scoreline I expected - at least, not that way round. Three precious, precious points for the Toffees. And, coupled with Leicester's result, a 6goal swing in their favour. :thumsup2

Not sure what result I want from the City Ground, maybe a draw, or a Southampton win.

Calvert-Lewin really is the difference maker in this team, although Mina was a massive improvement on Coady and Keane.

Agree, but also thought Patterson had a great game.

Super result. DCL does seem to make a big difference.

4 points from Wolves & Bournemouth should be enough.

This is Everton we're talking about. Perfectly capabale of losing their next 3 games, 2 of which appear winnable.

Rearrange the following words into a well known phrase or saying - Chickens. Count. Hatched. Before. They've. Your. Don't.

Disaster, Leeds ahead agains the 'ammers. Need Agent Moyes to do us a favour here.

Won't happen. West Ham will huff and puff and Leeds will snatch a second.

Doesn't matter about next week, Spurs will be taking nothing from Elland Road.

1-1 now. Believe @Jacksgranda, believe.

45 minutes to go yet. My nerves are worn to a frazzle this weekend already, the Dons, Everton and Carlisle yesterday, and now this torture today.

Yaaaas! Over to Newcastle now, if they do the business, Everton's fate is in their own hands.

I wonder if there will be any whining about the additional time today?!!
