EdinburghBlue
Essentially SD will expect to get all the profits foregone for 2018/19 and 2019/20. They will have rights for 2020/21, and so Hummel/Elite will expect compensation for lost profits in 2021/22. ... and forgot to add that SD will likely have their costs reimbursed.

cyderspaceman
Quote There is confusion surrounding the release of results from Mike Ashley's Sports Direct, after the firm failed to publish them early on Friday morning. In a statement, Sports Direct said it was "still finalising" the results, but anticipated publishing them on Friday. It is extremely unusual for results to be delayed in this way, and one analyst called events "an utter shambles". I do hope this does not help the currants in any way. Mabe it will push MA to squeeze them for even more.

Ross.
I see some further bits and pieces on the Kit Deal court case were released this morning. I would imagine Hummel/Elite won't be best pleased as they are essentially being frozen out of the deal they agreed. Very possible they will end up having to sue the club. Ironic that when they finally appear to have got it right on the park, their very obvious off field mistakes look like they could f**k all that up. Europa League group football is probably a necessity and it's far from guaranteed that they will get there.

And then there's the matter of damages. Morelos off for a million?

Morelos off for a million? Looking like the minimum this will cost them is around the £7m mark. £1m damages(if capped) and the money due from the remaining 2 years of their retail deal. Very possible it could cost more than that. Must be wishing they had accepted that "bid" from China last year...
