It's been great seeing the meltdown from rangers fans on Facebook. My reply to it all was a photo on the third division trophy saying we welcome the chase. Then bammin them up saying they will forever be in alloas shadows In terms of history and trophies. Its like shooting fish in a barrell.

Only in the same way as kicking a ball out for a throw-in at a particular time is. It's a minor event which will have no major influence on the outcome of the match (unless you subscribe to the "butterfly in the jungle" chaos theory)

And that was the whole point of the "No ball" scandal - it was a bigger picture outside of the extra run that went in the "Extras" box.

Large amounts of cash were bet on player X bowling a no ball on the Yth delivery of the Zth over, hence the scandal.

from my own experience on tupe

you have to sign a new contract to join the new company , legally you cant force someone to sign a contract

also this contract cant see the employee on worse terms

You dont have to be given a new contract , just a letter saying your T&C are being continued as at present (thinks like salary, length of service , redundancy terms , holidays etc), plus a note of any variance and your legal rights to walk away with no payment if you choose to do so.

Can we get a list of emails for all the clubs.

I think the best way to contact them is through the supporter's groups.

that way, they can speak for the fanbase as a whole, it carries more weight

and is more likely to get a committment from the club in return.

Aye, the laws quite clear despite Green's grandstanding about players being in breach of contract. http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2006/246/regulation/4/made 4.8 being the key point.

Which makes the "just short of match-fixing" cheating worse, so criminal charges should be a no-brainer, no? It's not a victimless crime, as we've all discussed here. Our teams were cheated out of cups (losing to nine men, ya b*****ds), European participation, league poistions (therefore prize money), etc.

A question for fans of all teams.

If its revealed who voted Yes/No to newco what will the strength of feeling be to the teams that voted

rangers back in.

The logic seems to be that the smaller clubs will all vote Rangers back in.

If you take Caley Thistle as an example. They could easily be relegated next season

so why is it so important for them to have Rangers in the league ?

Outside Celtic any of the clubs could suffer a relegation.

People are talking about letting Rangers back in and the smaller clubs will get

rewarded with a greater share of revenue.

Kick rangers out and the smaller clubs will hold the power to change the voting

structure.

No club as far as I can see has explicitly came out and said yes/no.

I doubt they will till the vote if over.

There is only one certainty that fans of every club should be contacting

their board of directors and telling them to vote 'NO'.

Honestly if they let them back in knowing the strength of feeling amongst

fans of all clubs then Scottish football is more fucked than anyone could

every have imagined.

Why would every club in the league decide to ignore the wishes

of all their customers.

Can I just add Neil Doncaster "is not expecting any application

from a new co rangers" this twats ability to make stupid

statements and rash dodgy predictions has no limit.

As a hibs fan I have read that Rod Petrie was one of

the people that appointed Neil Doncaster well done Rod another

solid appointment.

We were relegated recently, no TV money, no OF gates, we are still going strong (to paraphrase No8 ;) ) Hamilton still seem to be trading I can only think of Gretna who ceased to be trading after relegation and that was more to do with poor old Brooks illness and death than losing OF and TV cash. Losing the cash does not mean death to the club, unless they are unprepared. *Looks at Killie*

Just read No. 8's bit at the bottom of his posts about 4 men with a dream etc etc.

Isn't it funny how things come full-circle and they are no longer going strong and back to four men with a dream, and no money. But do we know it is four men or is it really 8 due to having 4 secretly stashed away out of public view?

Couldn't resist and continued respect to No. 8 for sticking by this thread.thumbup2.gifbeerchug.gif

So Green now saying that Dirty Cheating b*****ds FC might not even be playing in Glasgow.

But I thought he said that he wouldn't be selling Ipox, and that no matter what rankers would still be playing there. blink.gif

Could someone paste the text for that article in here, please? My works computer obviously disnae like The Herald's cookies, says there's malware, like it's a porn site or something. As if!!!!;)

Herald Sport understands one of the previous bidders for the club intends to submit a new bid today, while another is considering their options but could also return with an offer that is higher than the price Green has arranged with the club's administrators.

A third, new bidder also intends to make a bid, having previously carried out due diligence.

All three groups believe the combination of higher purchase offers and the widespread belief among creditors that the £5.5m price undervalues the business and Ibrox, Murray Park and Albion car park, might be enough to pressure Duff & Phelps into backing out of their agreement with Green. The administrators insist that they have a binding contract with the Yorkshireman's consortium, but Herald Sport also understands Green has not yet raised all of the £5.5m, so may be unable to complete the purchase.

Green and Paul Clark, of Duff & Phelps, are adamant nothing would prevent their deal being completed following the Company Voluntary Arrangement vote at tomorrow's creditors' meeting. HMRC have indicated they will vote against the CVA proposal, which then prompts Green's deal to buy the business and assets for £5.5m. A creditor can challenge this by claiming the assets are undervalued, but that can be difficult to prove.

However, HMRC may apply pressure to Duff & Phelps to accept one of the new, higher offers, particularly if Green has not raised the full finance. Dave King, the Rangers director and the club's second highest shareholder, has also threatened to halt proceedings by seeking an injunction. "There is, in my view, no possibility Green will ever own the club," King said.

Herald Sport also understands one of the investors in Green's consortium is Rafat Rizvi, a British citizen who was once on Interpol's wanted list after being accused of stealing assets from Indonesia's Bank Century two years ago, a charge which he denied. Herald Sport believes that Rizvi is investing £2m in Green's Sevco consortium, with Mike McDonald, the former Sheffield United chairman, investing a further £2m. A third investor had agreed to put in £4m, but pulled out last weekend.

The Blue Knights, Bill Ng's Singapore consortium and a UK group all lodged bids before Duff & Phelps chose Green's offer.
