Big Rangers Administration/Liquidation Thread - All chat here!

Recommended Posts

Given that the football thread is overrun by the grey and green dross and their diddy fluffers discussing BRALT matters it seems apt to discuss football on The Big Thread.

So Halliday to Gebele in Azerbaijan.  Had to look at the map and it's 300km from the capital.  Hope some of the Baku Bears can take a trip to cheer him on.

Maradorrans...news reports that it's a done deal.  Any views?

Watching Oor Bruno stroll it versus Chile.  What he lacks in pace he makes up for with presence.  He won't be bullied next season.

Get the popcorn oot and keep the jelly and ice cream on standby. :D or :( if it favours the four asterisks.

I can see it going the way of Rangers again this time.

I'd rather it didn't, but it won't really matter.  It won't alter the fact that the EBT scheme was morally despicable.  Neither will it alter the delightful fact that its existence led Murray to sell up to someone who steered the club to liquidation.

There is a few things Rangers/Murray did that should/could or might f**k them up. Declaring the wage top ups as interest free loans and this is what the HMRC are using to chase the main abusers of the EBT scheme. When questioned or looked at as evidence the question will be asked why wasn't a single solitary penny paid back over the 10 years it was in operation? Most legit EBT schemes used to give out interest free loans have loans either paid back or partly paid back.

Secondly, why was the kitty emptied every year and then topped up again and then rinse and repeat every year. The EBT scheme was legally a pension fund and having no cash in the account speaks volumes on it's own. But will the legal system see this as Rangers taking the piss? we are going to find out next week.

Perfect for The QC except he's perfected the art of being a clown without ever leaving his back bedroom.

I have been accused of stalking you recently, so I decided not to prod you you auld fart. But here you are goading me into an exchange of insults? Are you bored?, are you pissed off? Do you require some inconsiderate discourse? Not getting your hole?

You accuse other posters of being childish and yet here you are like a snottery wee kid in the school playground calling some other kid names who hasn't even bothered his arse with you. How very grown up.

Can I ask you a question? when one of your kids comes home from school with bad English exam results do you lose your shit completely? or is it a reflection of your teaching skills? are you heartbroken and dejected because you have an idiot as a child? do you punish them severely and force them to study every waking minute until they achieve your demented vision of the English language and it's use?
