barrysnotter
The last time Rangers got pumped in the European qualifiers it triggered a catastrophic insolvency event, ending the club. Could history repeat itself with the namesake?
Insaintee
I wonder if Dorron's might have to hitch hike back to Norwich

williemillersmoustache
On the first of March 2012, I joined this forum because Rangers had cheated, they were dying, and that was funny. Today, after a long struggle, finally my decision to join Scotlands Premier online football forum to point and laugh has been vindicated. Lest we forget. They cheated. They died.

Ross.
Going to be an interesting few weeks here. I cannot see how the footballing authorities can leave things as they are.

Using "Rangers" was quicker than typing RFC 2012 Plc (in liquidation) (formerly The Rangers Football Club Plc).

It means they cheated, and they can never be allowed to forget it. It probably means nothing in terms of the new club, but there will huge cheques being sent to HMRC by clubs all over the UK this afternoon.

Crossbill
Maybe, finally, we can purge the SPFL / SFA of it's rotten core.
Big Fifer
Just now, Crossbill said: Maybe, finally, we can purge the SPFL / SFA of it's rotten core. I can't see any circumstances under which that would happen. Surely nobody actually thinks Regan and Doncaster will feel the need to leave over this? I'd be surprised if anyone, other than some posters on a forum, puts any pressure on them to do so. Don't get me wrong I'd love it if it happened, just can't see it.
