If the SKY deal depends on 4 OF games how about this..................

Glasgow Cup they play each other home and away.

League Cup and Scottish Cup they automatically draw each in the first round.

Problem solved....................4 OF games. biggrin.gif

Where was the Sporting integrity when the sheep avoided relegation because Falkirk's Stadium wasn't big enough? Surely all the gate receipts clubs have taken from games against Rangers should be given back to HMRC in the name of Sporting Integrity? Plenty of talk of Sporting Integrity but as soon as it is put to people who so dearly advocate it that they are hypocritical, they wail "youse cheated, nae history"etc. Div 3 for this Bear, f**k Div1 1 and the SPL and I for one look forward to the collapse of the SPL and teams like Aberdeen and Hearts going to the wall, as they haven't got the fan base to save their pishy clubs.

Try getting your facts right before spouting ill thought drivel.

You read too much agenda driven p1sh in the MSM.

Collapse of the SPL...blah, blah, blah

Retarde much?

Your fanbase is zero, ballbag.

Rangers do not exist.

Now fcuking do one.

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if the SPL tried to postpone their meeting. They're shamelessly trying to pass the buck on to the clubs of the SFL and will come out with some shit excuse despite having months of preparation. We really need a commission into how governance in Scottish football has failed so badly, and for the heads of the cronies of those in the SFA, SPL and SFL to start rolling.

Surely the only reason Dundee aren't voting is because they are clearly going to benefit from Rangers plummeting down the leagues? Or has that already been mentioned?

Totally irrelevant. What they are going to be asked to vote on is whether to accept them into SFL and what div.

Oooooooooooooh Turnbull Hutton on sportsound :)

Saints aint budging :

"There has been a good deal of press speculation in advance of Wednesday's meeting of the SPL clubs with regard to how each club will cast their vote in relation to the newco Rangers' application to join the SPL," the statement read.

"For avoidance of doubt, the club's position remains as per the statement which was issued on Monday 25 June confirming that the club will not be supporting the application.

Why are journalists reporting as if there was due to be a vote today? It was always due to be only discussion. Nothing else. Why can't these rank amateurs in journalism get this info for themselves?

I refuse to believe that in a room full of 30 men trusted to run Scottish footballs "diddies" not 1 stood up and asked cockwomble a very simple question....

If the spl can only survive 1 year without Rangers, what happens if they don't get up?

Either we are about to see mass cheating from refs, well more than usual or a league reconstruction in summer 2013.

Funny how no doubt it will get bigger even though cockwomble said it will only get smaller less than 12 months ago.

If you are going to lie to people Donkey, remember what you said before. SFL chairmen must've been thinking 'what a flange' as the lies poured out from Neily boy today.

May i suggest the oh so creepy looking 1 gets a job as either a car salesman or a politician after the SPL sack him for telling more porkies than David Murray, Craig Whyte and Charles Green put together.

How exactly will FINANCIAL ARMAGEDDON affect the SFL clubs, especially those in the 2nd and 3rd divisions?

What have they been getting out of not sharing a league with Rangers and never being near the SPL all this time?

@bbcjimspence

Sfa will not allow rfc newco into spl says Stewart Regan

]

Yet he will wants them to go into the 1st, which IMO is worse.

What's the point in even having a vote tomorrow?

Fucking morons.

Don't be surprised if there's a similar outcome at tomorrow's SPL meeting.

If tomorrow's vote is adjourned then there is clearly "something up", as too many clubs have come out and stated their intention of voting no to Sevco. How many votes and just who has the authority to adjourn?

Not up to them to invite non league applications for a vacancy though- clubs themselves will apply.

IMO Spartans have decided too early not to apply. Can't see Gala being realistic contenders. Cove are ruled out owing to their new ground planning, otherwise they'd be strong contenders..

I would suspect Edinburgh City, maybe Preston, perhaps a Highland league club would apply for the vacancy. Wouldn't be at all surprised if Spartans changed their mind if the SFL3 application process goes ahead.

Spartans might have a real problem applying as their Chairman is Craig Graham, the same Craig Graham who is also one of the three members named as the SFA Judicial Appeals Panel.

If his Club apply to Division 3 he would have to remove himself from the Appeals Panel, given the conflict of interest. I sure the last thing needed is fresh membership if a quick decision is required.

This is assuming that the saction of suspension or explusion of RFC would also apply to Newco if the membership transfer takes place? (can somebody confirm this is so - sorry if I have missed it earlier - or this whole case redundant now with the liquidation of the guilty?).

I expect to get a lot of shit for this, but whilst I would prefer to see Rangers in the Third Division relegating them to the first wouldn't be cataclysmic - to me anyway.

But I still expect third to be the likely scenario.

Broon been on the sauce again?

Green has been meeting Clydesdale Bank Premier League clubs in recent days in a bid to persuade them to accept his new company's application to acquire Rangers' share in the competition.

Reports claim Green has offered to accept points deductions and a transfer embargo in order to secure SPL status.

Brown is leading an attempted fans' buyout of Green's company, who bought the business and assets of Rangers for £5.5million last month and he criticised Green's approach.

"Green has surrendered," Brown said.

"I think Peter Lawwell had a dream about keeping Rangers in the SPL, but only if he could make sure they would never have any chance of winning the title, by giving them a points deduction for the next few seasons.

"That keeps the value of the SPL for Celtic and means they can maintain a big budget for players, so they can not only win the SPL, but also have a really good chance of getting into the Champions League groups for the next four years.

"That would bring Celtic in almost £100million and all the while Rangers would have to pay SPL wages while being banned from Europe for the next three years and also having no chance of winning the title.

"By also surrendering and agreeing to the SFA transfer embargo, Green will leave Rangers in with no players and Ally McCoist will actually face a fight to avoid relegation."

Brown is pushing ahead with plans to mount a fans' ownership bid after Green's consortium rejected two bids from different parties since taking over.

"Right now I am putting in place the best legal team we can get, so that, we can do this in a proper corporate way, with supporters knowing that when they put money in to buy themselves a share in Rangers, their cash is safe.

"My plan will put Rangers men in charge of Rangers. The type of people who will not surrender to Peter Lawwell and Celtic the way Green has surrendered to them."

Brown and former Rangers vice-chairman Donald Findlay are awaiting a meeting with Ibrox chairman Malcolm Murray after demanding to see ownership documents relating to the club.

Murray pulled out of a meeting on Monday and Rangers said one would take place later in the week, while Green later told supporters all of their questions would be answered in the next week.

Edited to add..this is without Celtic making a statement, can you imagine the carnage if we did
