What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

Clerks II

Despite my usual 'sequel skepticism', I thought this was hilarious. It did have its pointless moments, like a whole bunch of people dancing outside Mooby's, presumably just to fill in a couple of minutes of film, but all the same there was enough crass humour in it to make me enjoy it a lot.

'Porch Monkey 4 Life!'

Juno :)

Was actually pretty good to be honest!

The first movie I have seen in a long time that doesn't drag on and on.

7/10

All good revews on here so far, I might watch it. I don't tend to watch everything that gets downloaded it just just on my hard drive, kinda like a mini video shop!

BTW why do you have a human that looks like Gizmo as your signature?

Untraceable 7/10 A solid film that I enjoyed, wasn't the torture porn fest I was expecting which was a plus point, plus it got me thinking about all the stuff you can see on the 'net and how curiousity can kill other peoples cats (If you see the movie you'll get that). Certainly the 1st movie in a long time that resonated with me in one way or another proving to myself that I do indeed have a soul. :o

Hatchet

6/10

As the theme tune by Marilyn Manson (and Goldfrapp) said "This is the New Shit"

Summed this film up perfectly! It's got the Candyman and Freddie Krueger in it, and that annoying fat c**t Pete from Dharma and Greg gets his head ripped off, what's not to like?!??!

Decent wee modern horror that was entertaining all the way through, and about as good as a so shit it's good film can be!

My Super Ex Girlfriend

Much better than I was expecting. Although Anna Faris still annoys the hell out of me. And Uma Thurman is one ugly lady. Outside of that, there are some brilliant moments in this movie.

Accidental Husband - 1/10

The worst film I have EVER seen at the cinema - truly horrendous. Bird dragged me along to see it and I knew it was a chick flick but I expected at least one or two laughs or hot chicks etc. Nothing at all - awful awful film

You got Audrey Fafard, albeit she was only a waitress, so probably wasn't in it for very long!

No Country for Old Men

Very good film - but and queue the barrage, I'm not sure what to make of the ending.

The Hitman was chillingly played - well worthy of his oscar, and all performaces were top notch.

8/10 - but still confused!

Seriously, I went to see it tonight (similar situation, girlfriend wanted to go) and while it wasn't brilliant, it wasn't the worst film I've ever seen by any means.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)

10/10

Despite it having one of my worst fears running throughout it, an indestructible Robert Patrick, it gave me hope for civilization when the Connors and Uncle Bob found a satisfactory conclusion.

I'd never actually seen the first hour or so, so it helped make a lot more sense!

Despite it being over 15 years old, it's not aged as badly as many late 80s/early 90s films have.

I actually think it's aged very badly. Terminator is a far superior film and probably holds up better after the length of time since it was released

Robert Patrick didn't die in The Terminator, it was probably a better story, but the more comedy scenes and the whole Patrick death thing made T2 a better film for me. I will now have a good nights sleep thinking of his funeral. :)

Watched lock stock and two smoking barrels last night for the first time since it came out. When i first saw it i thought it was pretty good, but this time round it didnt seem too great. Too many scenes invovling slow motion and flashy music for my liking.

5/10

I don't think T2 has aged badly at all. The special effects still hold their own, and the scene with the truck chasing the motorbike is phenomenal.

A typical Coen brothers film - doesn't tie off the loose ends and keeps you guessing! :)
