Grim O'Grady
It stays with you as well. Haunting is the best way to describe it I feel. Haunting & heartwarming too. I tried to get hold of the brotherhood of war but no luck yet, will keep trying later. Cheers Grimbo
Central
A Walk in the Woods - 7.5/10. Very easy watching film with a few laughs here and there.
Dee Dee
Just putting this on now, will report back in an hour or so. One of the worst films I have ever watched. Poor story line and worse actors. 3/10 a big steaming pile of horseshit.
mjw
Roger Waters. The Wall. A mix of him going on a road journey to visit his Grandfathers grave (WW1) and his Father's (WW2) and a live concert. There is also a strong anti war message running through the film.

Bobby Skidmarks
Predicted text was sending me all ways it's the best I could do under the circumstances. I'm going to spell his name like that from now on. A brave attempt, Wisbit.
lichtie23
Southpaw Heard good things about this and I overall enjoyed it even though the ending was pretty predictable. Thought Jake Gylenhall was superb in the main role and iv always been a fan of Forest Whitaker (if any of you haven't watched the butler then I recommend you do) and thought he was very good as the trainer. Had a rocky feel about it at times but don't think that's a bad thing. 8/10
killienick
Maggie Arnold swatzaniger (sic :-S) looking like saddam hussein stays with his daughter whilst she turns into a zombie. Defo a burds film. 5/10 There is a brilliant but horribly racist joke in there somewhere.
Grim O'Grady
Glad you enjoyed. I presume you have watched schindlers list? Yeah seen Shindlers list, depressing in many ways but interesting in it being based on a true story. I love 'Land and Freedom". set during the Spanish Civil War. A good emotional story. WhiteRoseKillie
After watching the top 100 of all time. ( randy giles got upset at my ratings ) life is beautiful and schindlers list are my top 2 of all time I'm going to get a hold of Life Is Beautiful - heard nothing but good things about it. Land and Freedom is another great film, one of my top three Loach films, and probably up there overall, in all honesty.
GrahamJags
Roger Waters The Wall - 7/10 The show itself was amazing. The bits between were very self-indulgent, especially as I was just expecting a straight up concert film Arcade Fire - The Reflektor Tapes - 4/10 Saw this last week. Film is utter gash, the 4 is for the songs/performances in it.
Ira Gaines
Agree on the Waters stuff. Cringeworthy stuff at times. Went to see The Martian. So much fun to be had in this one. 9/10
Kyle
The Martian. I doubt I'm going to see a better film this year. Excellent story, stunning visuals (although I'm not sure that 3d made much of a difference), the first genuine Oscar contender, both in terms of the movie itself and Matt Damon's performance. It's weirdly uplifting for a movie about a guy who gets left behind on mars. Oh, and the soundtrack is fantastic - Forrest Gump levels of fantastic. 10/10

Ira Gaines
I'd be pretty shocked if close to half the movie was spent in the dome.
Tommy Nooka
I read The Martian earlier this year without knowing there was a film getting made, did seem like the story would be very suited to the big screen, cliches and all. Think I'll check this one out, just got to decide whether to 3D or Not 3D?? It should be a good one for 3D though, Outer Space + Mars + Spaceships = Potentially stunning visuals!!
Ira Gaines
Doesn't seem like 3D would make much difference as far as enjoying it goes, although some of the Mars stuff does look great.

Kyle
That's about half the film to be fair. No it wasn't
