Went to see The Hills Have Eyes on friday night. 1/10. Utter pish which makes you jump a couple of times at the start but just makes you laugh out loud towards the end. Also has arguably the cheesiest ending to a film that i've seen in ages. Avoid at all costs

Stewarty, do you want this one, or will I take it?

:angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry:

Just seen it.

Zombies DO NOT run. End of.

Any zombie films where the 'zombies' can run are just plain wrong.

IPSO FACTO.

Having said that, the remake of DOTD wasnae bad. Liked the bit where they were shooting the zombie lookalikes from the roof. Burt Reynolds.

Just Watched The Perfect Catch. the American version of Fever Pitch and to be honest it was gash. But then, it was a Farrelly Brothers film. Cheesy shite.

3/10

Is that the one with drew barrymore in it? if so its called fever pitch over here.

Anyway, saw Racing STripes last night, thought it was going to be all animation a la pixar but was more like Babe. Was quite funny in a childish way, 6/10.

Saw two films on Sky last night.

The Chamber. A Grisham thriller starring Gene Hackman as a racist killer on death row. Superbly acted by Hackman, as you would expect, and not a bad wee story, if a tad hackneyed. 7/10

Wicker Park - Drama/Thriller starring Josh Hartnett. I hate Hartnett as an actor, a Keanu Reeves for the next generation, but this was an excellent film, very cleverly made with a lot of good twists, and although a typical schmaltzy Hollywood ending, I thoroughly enjoyed it. 8/10.

schindler's list - had this on dvd for ages buthad never seen it. pretty impressive film about a harrowing subject.

8.5/10

the constant gardener - one of those films that i didnt appreciate how good it was until i thought about it a few days later. Again, quite a harrowing subject matter but well presented movie by a fantastic director and carried out well by a strong cast.

8.5/10

I'm going to bite the bullet and go and see this pish on Wednesday.

Despite my anti-Alexandre Aja thread, I feel I have to see it so I can start another rant about how pish it is!

SR, have you seen the original two THHEs? Two of the best TCM homages of all time, only bettered by house of 1000 Corpses.

Oh, Ho1000C 9/10 :D

EDIT: Rob Zombie's gorgeous wife Sheri Moon being in it helps, even though she didn't manage to save the ludicrously bad "The Toolbox Murders" <_<

BTW Night of the Living Dead is getting remade AGAIN! This time in 3D

EDIT2: The film was made in the same house as "the best little whorehouse in texas"... is that why the sequel was called "the devils rejects"?

She is lucky to still be working for her current wages, not often a film gets voted 2.3 / 10 on IMDB (25th worst film of all time - Gigli). And she got $12,000,000 for that!

'Little Women'

Complete pish, unintentionally funny in parts but generally a very painful experience.

It gets 2 marks for Gabriel Byrne and his comedy accent, but loses 1 for having Winona Ryder in it.

So 1/10

But it has Claire Danes in it, according to IMDb, so that can only be a good thing (albeit she'd be about 15 at the time)

Plus she's not really my type, having two X chromosomes and that
