Poet of the Macabre
Hutton in goals and no Ashcroft at Easter Road then? Might stick my life savings on Hibs -2.
DAFC.
Would we be able to lodge an appeal in time before the Hibs game to get the red card rescinded? AJ should drop McCabe and put big Nat in a DM role. It's Hutton in goals that's giving me the fear. If Fordyce is ready, then it's time for the beast to come back.
D.A.F.C
Hutton is just too small, he's a good shot stopper but it takes home longer to get to the ball.

Every save he made yesterday was easy and the only times he had to deal with a slightly average shot he fumbled, one costing us a goal.
TheMessiah
Would have no problem with Gill starting v Hibs.
da_no_1
Has anyone seen Gill play? I haven't and personally think a debut at Easter Rd might not be the best thing to do for his development.

Which professional keeper isn't a good shot stopper FFS?!

gingapar
I wonder if he shouts "Haduken" when he dives after the ball.

You get better shot stoppers than others. It's perfect fair to describe mcgurn as a good shot stopper. His ability in that regard is greater than the norm, this is balanced out by his other aspects such as his kicking and ability at crosses.Someone like murdoch is much more rounded, less likely to pull off an incredible save but has greater ability elsewhere.its no different from calling a striker a good finisher. And Hutton is not a good shot stopper.
Shooboax
Defensively is where I'm most worried about but a hard fought 3-1 win for us against the Hibs.
Shooboax
We need to be worried about the big teams in this league not the teams who are used to languishing down here.

But we were going through a rubbish spell where nobody really did

Shandon Par
The defenders have to adapt to Hutton a bit too. Eg, we know he might parry shots that Murdoch would scoop up so they have to be more aware with second balls. Also, that first goal against ICT.. Big Ben would be able to play a ball like that to Murdoch any time and not think twice about it so they can't put him in that position.
