This. There's a bizarre blind assumption among football fans that multi year contracts means there's absolutely no way it ends without being paid in full. There will be a break clause. It might be one month's notice, three months, six months, or even a year but there's almost certainly a break clause in there. No responsible football club would hand out a 3 year deal to someone without a break clause surely?

Has to be a meaningful level of protection for the manager also though?

There is, they’d be guaranteed whatever the agreed compensation is. Works the same as a notice period in any job.

Here, but how fucking class is the Falkirk bench? Nae ones competing with that.

There’s also that free flowing attacking football they claim to play. They don’t do boring football, like us. They play football the right way. We’ve failed to score in 3 league games out of 29. They’ve failed to score in 3 in a row.

They've got two shots in target in 180 minutes against us.

So attacking, such free flowing.

Falkirk have improved as a footballing side under McGlynn, same way we did under AJ. However they'll soon understand that they'll become predictable and run out of ideas. McGlynn plays the same way with every club.

Agree with this, along with his usual post January slump.  Let’s not forget his Rovers team that got out of League 1 did so because of the Covid pause.  His only other league win/promotion was in 2009.

Hes a dab hand at winning the challenge cup tho to be fair.

Aye, I commented on two lads greeting about the derby result and now I'm getting suggested Falkirk vs Alloa highlights from like 2008 or some shit.

Skin is starting to grow between my fingers!

The amount of obsession here is incredible

Dry your eyes. You and your friends couldn’t stay away from this thread when you were on form. Now McGlynn’s bottled it, as we said he would, you’re coming to our thread with this nonsense.

We’re going for the title, with our rivals in second place. Of course we’re going to be talking about them/enjoying their implosion. Even after the game against us, you were on this thread talking about how there was no chance you’d drop 5 points in 3 games. To be fair, you were right, it only took you 2 games.

You do realise the irony of your post as well? A Falkirk fan posting in a Dunfermline thread to say that we’re obsessed with them…
