Walking Down The Halbeath Road

Recommended Posts

Pre-season friendlies count for very little at the end of the day but this is our last one before the competitive matches start (and Johnston has always talked about wanting to win every game in both the two 'minor' cups so you've got to assume we're not treating the League Cup as an extended series of friendlies) and we look disjointed, well off the pace, disorganised and haven't seemed to settle on a formation or style of play yet. Quite worrying really - if this is anything like out first XI throughout the season we could struggle.

We've had plenty of bad pre seasons followed by great seasons, similarly we've had dreadful seasons preceded by good seasons.

However unless the four players Aj plans to bring in are good players at this level, we're not going to have a good season.

AJ has to go after that performance btw. I didn't see a single second of it but we need at least 8 new players and I'd release a fair chunk of the first 11. An utter shambles.

In the space of 30 minutes you've gone from meaningless friendlies to sack the manager and replace the team? [emoji16]
