For the moment though, the UK Govt. should be doing more to address the problem - much more. But they clearly aren't, and won't as long as they keep electing right leaning governments. Even with Labour Governments in place over the years these problems were still there. And look at Glasgow Council - which has been Labour controlled for more years that I can remember.
