What "facts" exactly are you wanting to emphasise?

All of them. I don't discriminate.

Yeah that graph tells the story

It tells the story it purports to tell.

FFS

Seriously?

^^^

Hates facts.

We could do with her now unfortunately.

My only real criticism of her, is that she didn't push more economically and she didnt roll back the state enough.

Apart from that, she was the best Prime Minister I'm ever likely to see.

BTW, what the f**k was that shite in George Square the other night? A bunch of plook faced little wasters and their bearded tit lecturers celebrating her death by using champagne bought from evil capatalist companies? They made fools of themselves as usual.

Whichever way you look at it, there's something unedifying about students dancing about the street celebrating someones death. These will be the same students who identify politically with the likes of Stalin, conveniently ignoring the inordinate death toll extreme leftist governments have accumulated around the world.

For all her ills, I for one, would not have wished death on her or anyone else for that matter and it saddens me slightly to witness the undignified way which some people react to the death of another.

And they'll all end up voting Tory by age 40 anyway

Lefties buying stuff from capitalist companies megalollllzzzzz !!!!

tghis message brought to you by reynard who has steadfastly stuck to his beliefs by never using a road, hospital or scholl (actually this is believable) in his puff.

See this is what kinda bugs me..

People who claim to be socialist in their ideology, or in that way inclined, never truly follow through with their belief.

We all have a mobile phone contracted to a private company, most of us live in private housing, and most of us work for private companies and the like.

If you truly are against capitalism then surely participating in it makes you a hypocrite no?

This isn't directed to you, my fellow invergowrie dweller, just an open question for people to respond to.

Now, THAT, is verge of tears material....

They two are hardly comparable. Try to work and not pay taxes in some form or other.... we might as well use the services we pay for. Lefties, however, could quite conceivably choose to buck the system knit their own clothes etc etc. Instead, they all seem rather nattily dressed, least the ones at university were

I think there is a difference between wanting a socialised societal structure and campaigning for a more moral and equal way of companies doing business and becoming a hippy survivalist living hand to mouth as a subsistence hunter gatherer in the wild.

This is nonsense.

How is it possible to live in the twenty first century and not 'participate in capitalism'?

There's a slight difference between using mobile phones provided by private companies and paying off a loan on a car pšrovided by a private company, to playing the stock market and moving profits offshore to avoid tax.

It's a necessity to exist within the system of the day, in order to live. That bald fact doesn't necessarily mean that we have to agree with the system and refrain from criticising it and suggesting better alternatives.

I agree that it is nigh on impossible to not participate, of course we have to live.

What alternatives do you suggest however? Or can you provide any examples of alternatives?

I'm by no means advocating capitalism, I hate the idea of greed and the like which is clearly promoted by the ideology, and tbh I would much rather have a barter system introduced and just scrap money altogether.
