hellbhoy
Well that's a turnip for the books. All we need now is a nippy Dunfermline fan to be a Pars-nip.

The Sevco boys are a shoe-in for the Fizzy 2 / Scottish Cup double. Didn't you see today's papers? Super Salary doesn't fear anyone now that his fledgling club so easily brushed aside the challenge of Barcelona, sorry, Dunfermline.

gannonball
So, millions of pounds thrown down the drain just to win a league that was already won before a ball was kicked? Is that Rangers or Celtic I'm describing? We've made money in the past few seasons off transfers have we not? Also we spent some of that income to ensure champions league qualification, which we did. From that we made even more moneyTo summarise its The Rangers your describing.

That interview was fantastic. Saying he never caused any controversy at all, then saying hes been subject of obvious sectarian assaults in the past few years which the police just ignore, and that he wondered if this was for similar reasons

Red 'N Yellow
Beaten at home in both cups, awful in the Champions league, millions spent on new players. An unbeaten league record means nothing when you've been shite on every other front.
pozbaird
did he do an interview after the game?? Saw him midweek saying he doesn't act different to any other SPFL manager! I asked this question on our B&W Army forum... How come guys like Josef Venglos, Tony Mowbray, Wim Jansen, Martin O' Neill, Gordon Strachan, or any other number of Celtic managers you care to mention failed to attract the type of attention that Neil Lennon manages to do?Is it maybe because those guys could conduct themselves with dignity, and weren't snarling wee rottweilers, sniping at officials, calling opposing captains 'fcuking hard men, eh, ya fanny', and generally being no-class neds? None of that means the guy deserves to be hit with coins or abused while merely watching a game though - of course it doesn't. He needen't play the 'I'm a nice quiet lad' card though, he's patently a wee cnut. I've never seen another Celtic manager make such a point of marching across our pitch after another routine demolition of my team, fists pumping, and generally making himself the centre of attention. Pretty sure fans of other clubs have similar experiences of the wee no-mark. Edited February 8, 2014 by pozbaird
Confidemus
Imagine what life would be like if it was Larsson managing Celtic! I might actually li... li... like Celtic with Larsson in charge. What a fucking horrendous thought.

Kelt
Well, yeah, it's true that Lennon doesn't deserve to be spat at, have cups or coins thrown at him, or be the subject of sectarian abuse. And thus far, a week into an official Police Scotland investigation, it seems like he wasn't spat at, had cups or coins thrown at him, or been the subject of sectarian abuse. At least, not in the game at Tynecastle. He appears to have been in the vicinity of things getting thrown around when the mighty Dons scored any one of their four incredible goals, but shit getting thrown around after a goal is something that happens in football matches, whether Lennon happens to be in attendance or not. Lennon, much to his dismay should he find this out, isn't the centre of the fucking universe. When things get thrown around it's not because the great Neil fucking Lennon happens to be in the stadium, and given nothing at all hit him then he might want to consider that he wasn't the target, if there even was a target. In fact the guys in the press box were hit, so presumably it was they who were the intended target rather than Neil Lennon. I don't doubt people were calling him a c**t, though. But given he IS a c**t he can have no complaints about that.
