ewan_fife
PITCH PERFECT | Bayview Stadium has been graded by the SPFL as the best surface in Scotland. Well done to David Montador & the groundstaff!
Forest_Fifer
PITCH PERFECT | Bayview Stadium has been graded by the SPFL as the best surface in Scotland. Well done to David Montador & the groundstaff! So why do they want to dig it up and put a plastic one down? If they want a plastic one put it over the back and leave the grass pitch alone.
Pee Gee
Fantastic and well deserved. No coincidence that the best footballing side in the league play on the best surface. Edited March 25, 2016 by Pee Gee
faither
So why do they want to dig it up and put a plastic one down? If they want a plastic one put it over the back and leave the grass pitch alone. Finances - simple as that. Having the best pitch in Scotland is nice but doesn't bring in an extra penny whereas the artificial surface will. Putting it over on the existing training pitch means you'd have to spends lots on the supporting infrastructure.

TOC
To put meat on the bones the defining events were becoming more positive by playing two up front and around the same time a new 'keeper who, although not necessarily better, started to distribute from the back. That is no criticism of the piece which is well written and accurate.
King Kebab
You could also say it coincided with Naysmith realising we are infinitely better at the back when he is playing, our run started with, as you say the recruitment of a confident keeper and returning to the two-up front plan we started the season with AND Naysmith starting himself!!!

fatdoug1938
I still think we're more effective with Fash up top on his own and Smith and Wilkie behind. Gives us more in centre mid and we can control games. Elgin away the perfect example. Just think when Campbell and Slattery are outnumbered they struggle. Good point today tho
BaSeDG0DSA1NT
Does anyone know why only one bar has been open the past few weeks? I am sure there is a good reason but thought someone on here would be in the know and could answer this. Seems crazy that we are on a great run, attracting more people to matches and then asking everyone to squeeze in to the downstairs bar.
King Kebab
Because the sale of the hospitality packages have gone through the roof the last few weeks, the upstairs suite has been used solely for that, so if you've not got a ticket you weren't getting in!!!
Forest_Fifer
Can't we get a local builder in to extend the downstairs bar outwards and put another door in? Can't imagine it would be that expensive - that's what they should have tried to get crowd funding for IMO, not a new club shop.

Gave it more of a big-match feel. Nice atmosphere.
