supermik
Make sure you tell the fitters that you want all the scrap as you have already paid for it.
Smurph
My friends moved house and it has a new boiler. They have an app on their phone which can control their temperature from afar.

Widge
Greenstar 40cdi Offft a big old b*****d that, 40 litre condensing boiler. You must have a rather large house, otherwise it's stupidly big.
KnightswoodBear
I love my Hive system as it gives me yet another way to piss the missus off, this time from afar. I wish you'd leave the fucking heating alone when I'm round visiting.
Lisa Cuddy
I wish you'd leave the fucking heating alone when I'm round visiting. ^^ Not trying hard enough. She doesn't usually need the heating on to keep her visitors warm.

We're looking at new boilers, and because our house is oil, rather than gas, one of the options is the nattily titled "Heatslave II" range.

KnightswoodBear
Because the first model just wasn't kinky enough? The catalogue does mention hot and cold running bondage gear.

Why are you still with oil. Anyway that's a belting name for a brand. Certainly stands out that's for sure.

My house is set back so far from the road that it was never connected to the gas main. It would cost about £20,000 and involve digging up our road up to the house to get it done.

KB's rambling country estate is too old and off the grid and has entirely too many hectares for gas to be laid on.
