I eat the healthy stuff like salad and veggies first to get them out the way.
You don't want to ruin the nice part of your dinner with broccoli or mushrooms and you don't want to be left with just mushrooms at the end of your meal, leaving you with a nasty taste in your mouth all night.

It's simple food science.

Exactly, imagine eating your steak first, then the onions, mushrooms and chips

I do exactly the same but every meal I worry that I'll have filled my belly to capacity before reaching the soggy underpastry the steak pie or whatever other morsel I've saved.

I sometimes think starting with all the best stuff would be the cleverest way but haven't bern brave enough to try it. What if I'm not full and left with spinach?

Well I’m hardly going to eat the black pudding and tattie scones first am I

You need to keep the tomatoes to combine, alternately with bits of bacon and sausage. You also need to keep a bit of all the meaty stuff to make a piece at the end.

I agree. I am not really as big a fan of the big fry up on a plate as I am of a couple of quality rolls.

I like when fattys at work claim to be cutting down. "I'm only having one roll today".

Scooby Doo couldn't eat that you fat bàstard.

Were your parents high fiving after your conception?

His Dad could be any one of Dunfermline’s First Division promotion-winning team of 1987. What a performance that night by his mum down that lane behind the East Port Bar. My money would be on one of the short ones like Ian McCall.

Tattie scone last as it is the best for absorbing the beans sauce
