I recall you being up against a fierce competitor, you certainly didn't embarrass yourself which I'd imagine most on here would.

100, 25, 8, 6, 4, 2

Target = 729

The easy way

(100/4)+2=27

25+(8-6)=27

27^2=729.

Carol failed to get a similar 1 even although 729 is a special number for those like myself that need hankies when doing figures.

It's 1 that maths people should solve b4 the clock starts or very early on.

100, 75, 50, 25,6, 3 Target = 952

(100+6)*3=318

75*318=23850

23850-50=23800

23800/25=952

I actually stumbled across this 1 when I was trying to find the actual 729 example Carol couldn't solve.

Carol questioned the contestant a few times about his wish to multiply 318 by 75.

I never attempted to solve it myself as the solution was immediately under the question and honestly don't think I would have got it as I only ever do them in my head.
