DeeTillEhDeh
We're now in SIMD 10, before we were in SIMD 9. Pro tip: Buy the most affordable hoose on the nicest street, rather than the most expensive hoose on the roughest street. Now 7 from 6.
Sergeant Wilson
I wouldn't mind being a fly on the wall as Kev and Shandon planned their robberies. "I'm not going there, what would they have? Well I'm not going there either, not in these shoes, I've heard it's dirty. It's not dirty, it's up and coming.,"
throbber
I know the area very well been going out there for 20 years. It's gone too SE England/Edinburgh Uni now. In its favour though, it's not as shite as Morningside. Pilrig Park is the only place to be on a sunny day. [emoji41]Pilrig park is alright but there’s nothing special about it, it’s just a park. Inverlieth park has a duck pond, a botanic garden and a lovely view across the city. Victoria park is better than Pilrig.

You don’t want to get caught short.

nsr
My uncle lives in Sighthill. I have no idea why. He's a doctor so must earn a decent crust.

You see, I chose two very shite areas of Edinburgh, to suggest that Leith (where he does actually live) was on par with them! It was a very subtle piece of quality humour, so understandable you’d miss it.

TheScarf
Inverness may be the 7th or 8th largest place in the country, but I don't believe for 1 second that there are only 7 more deprived areas than Merkinch here.

8MileBU
...and two cheesemongers.... It's got two Cricket Grounds Edinburgh Accies and the Grange Which makes it twice as posh as UddingstonCricket is an utterly dreadful sport and people only pretend to like it. Stockbridge having two cricket grounds is totally unacceptable and at least one should be immediately dug up and replaced by a third cheesemongers. Can never have too much cheese.
Doctor
Speaking of cheese shops there used to be a cheese shop in Blairgowrie out the Bridge of Cally Road run by the most unwelcoming old couple you could meet, they actively disliked your presence in the shop, cheese absolutely stank out the place as well, either that or or it was the damp. One of them passed away and they shut the shop maybe 10 years ago, shame, they did a smashing selection of ice cream.
