Gordopolis
Better technique. Touch, skill, weight of pass, he also has better vision than almost every other Scottish player. Not surprised a British football fan thinks it doesn't matter, however, when your team gets beat in Europe for the forty thousandth time in a row, and Scotland fail to make their 1800th tournament in a row, its cause the teams from places who realise it does matter, are technically better. Thanks for your definition of "technically better". But are we not missing the point that, regardless of technical skills, the overall level of a player (technical skills, psychology, fitness etc etc) is what really matters? If we put Gauld, McKay and Allan in the Scotland team, we would lose quite heavily I'd wager. Alone, technical ability is worthless if you don't have the rest. The teams who have tanked Scotland and Scottish club sides over the last 30 years are not just "technically better". That's a myth - a one-line media cop-out.

If you wanted any scottish played to control a ball dropping out the sky it'd be McKay. He's a great wee player to watch, quick with two-great feet and has a shot on him. Sadly he's a bit of a shitebag and neglects his defensive duties, which is he's not even a regular in the Championship. As a morton fan I had the displeasure to watch Barrie McKay for a season. I'd rather have just anybody in the Scotland squad try and control a ball out the sky. Not because he couldnt do it. But because he would either. A - Shite out of controlling the ball. B - Decide while the balls in the air that he can't be arsed. C - Pull out his phone and start texting Absolute bellend with no heart or interest.
ajwffc
Theres a Rangers fan who stalks their forum, and twitter, claiming Barrie McKay is the "most technically gifted" player in Scottish football. At least we know who Kuro supports now. Probably McKays dad.Or McKay himself

The Moonster
Gauld set to sign a two year deal with Farense (the team he left to join Hibs). Not very inspiring.

He just needs a season of first team games to get some stability into this depressingly patchy career so far.

Gordopolis
Farense play in the second division.Ah shit, I misread the Wikipedia preview about them. That's a really pump move... but probably about right for Gauld's current standing in the game.

MarkoRaj
Noticed Gauld captaining his team on Saturday. Scored the opener as well. They're 2nd in the league so a wee promotion and hopefully a move to get his career back on track

Finally get a crack at the Portugese top flight as a first choice, if he does well then he can see what his options are. He's a hugely talented player, just lost his way a bit and his confidence deserted him. Could still have a good career.
