vikingTON
48-52 isn't really a statistical tie if a few pollsters show it: it means Yes is almost certainly behind as measured by the polls, and needs a very late push and/or a constituency of voters who haven't been picked up to show on the day.
MuckleMoo
If anything I think this is good for Yes as the vote has held up despite the 24/7 barrage from WM and the media for No in the last week Agreed. I was expecting a bigger fall tbh

madwullie
I'd rather we were slightly behind in the polls Tbh. Irrational or not, I feel it's easier to come from behind with a late surge than to hold a slight lead
invergowrie arab
I don't buy papers and I wouldn't read the sun if it was given to me... But do people that do think that the Suns declaration would make any difference either way? Like would someone think, that's it I'm voting yes/no because the Sun says so. Really? I find that baffling. With 48 hours to go then no. A few weeks ago aye it probably would as they would have countered the extreme made up Shite for idiots with extreme made up Shite for idiots of their own flavour.

welshbairn
As a Yes voter I thought Brown put the best case I've heard for the Union. Still voting Yes though..
LongTimeLurker
It's a terrible result because it means the pollsters have no idea what's happening out there. ALL of them have faulty methodology and now they are all lining up alongside each other to prevent any one of the them losing future work. Definitely convenient how it's almost always just under 50%.
Biscuits
At the end of the day these polls are not worth a f**k. Too many unreachable voters...
Ludo*1
Have the Sun ever backed a loser? Think this will be very telling.
Confidemus
At the end of the day these polls are not worth a f**k. Too many unreachable voters... Utterly, utterly this. This is a vote like no other.
John Lambies Doos
The Sun will either stay neutral or declare No. I think it will make a difference to some. Just like the record headline this morning

renton
Reasons? Their political editor clearly wants to jump for Yes - check out recent favourable coverage for Yes and his recent editorial, but I'd guess Murdoch has him on a tight leash.
Confidemus
Reasons? Murdoch's tweets, the Record's stance. A hunch. Could be wrong.
Blaven
I think the Sun will support Yes. It would give us a boost, but I can't see it now.
