There are three teams dining at the helm of the top table at the moment, including newly promoted Alang1993. Deej is MIA!

Down in the dregs, Edmund's running away with it and Dee Man has done enough to lift himself off the bottom of the league... well done!

Good luck with the exams Deej! Although you really need to get your priorities straight!

So, in the cup replay, I asked the question:

  • In mathematics (and in particular, the methods of zeta function regularization and Ramanujan summation), the infinite series of natural numbers, 1+2+3+4 (all the way up to infinity) is given a finite value... or to put it another way.... adding every integer together between 1 and infinity returns what number?

Well I think it's fair to say that both Deej and Leeds Saint enjoyed the question immensely. The correct answer is, of course, -1/12.

Here's a Wikipedia article about it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1_%2B_2_%2B_3_%2B_4_%2B_⋯

And if you don't understand that (i.e. if you're human), here's a video which shows the proof!

So the results!

Deej went with a 1googol, or 1 with a 100 zeros, or 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Leeds Saint plumped for

1234567890987654321

So Leeds Saint was far closer and progresses to the next round!

(A thousand sorries)....
