Warming up is something you won't need to bother about as it's going to be 40 today and 41 tomorrow with a "cool" change down to 30 on Monday.

Cool down then. (If I can force a replay you'll scratch when you find out the temperatures here...)
Eednud
So here it is, the last quizday of week 1 and who's on first etc. One thing for sure, unless one of the top 3 Beazers has a mind blank I'm staying put and avoiding being a yo-yo (non-biscuit variety). 5/10 today. 1-6 corrects excepting summun bonum but if had gone with first thought would have been correct. Only 2 Aussie question but extra Antipodean content with 1 x NZ and maintaining the Southern hemisphere focus with a South African one as well. Good luck all. http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/mind-games/quiz?quizId=5923§ionId=1
peasy23
5/10, could/should have been 7 but changed two answers from the correct ones. Bolllocks.
Arthur Orton
6 out of ten to maintain my average for the week.
blackislekillie
5/10. Knew 4, both books, play and Latin. Guessed the Aussie sheila.
Arabdownunder
8/10 to end the week, taking advantage of the antipodean angle
WhiteRoseKillie
I shall take a walk down to Waterstone's on Saturday...and report back. Just be aware that Miss McD, like Coben and Deaver, has some early, not all that polished work as well as her later, more complex stuff. Not bad reads, in fairness, but her later stuff is much more rewarding.
WhiteRoseKillie
...And a poor, poor four to end the week. Poorer still, as I knew five, and pressed the wrong answer!
WeeMentalDavie
5/10. Only knew 3 so 7 guesses
scotfree
5/10, Seems to be my level of shitness.
The_Kincardine
Another 7 with only one guess. What do you call a 50/50 when two are clearly wrong and you don't know the answer but one seems 'righter' than the other? Obviously not a 75/25...but maybe a 60/40?
eckthearab
Finish the week with a good 7/10. Knew the first six and guessed the New Zealand prime minister. South African, tamari and big bash questions wrong [emoji20]
die hard doonhamer
4. Knew one, educated guess on another, and 2 total punts.

Still, it won't affect the trophies / relegation places. And a shit 4 for me too.
Bully Wee Villa
Seven. Probably too little too late for a playoff push.
dee_62
Knew 4 and scored 5/10. Got them all within the first 6 questions. Last 4 not even the wildest of guesses coming off.
BigBo10
5/10. Thought I'd done better. Turns out I didn't know as many as I thought.
