topcat(The most tip top)
What are those railroads by the stadium site? What trains run on that? Can they maybe build a station by the stadium? Kew Bridge station is already there

That will be where they have the stripper bar.

I'd wouldn't have thought the Stadium Frame would take 10 months to erect. Basically a big Meccano set. They can build an Aldi in a few weeks. HibeeJibee
Cove Rangers new ground the Balmoral Stadium is nearing completion. Equipped with 3G pitch and 4 surprisingly short floodlights down each side it also features a 320-seat grandstand with executive boxes behind and changing rooms etc. On the opposite side of the pitch - for reasons not quite apparent - there's a separate 50 seat stand and 2 small covered terraces sufficient for about 100 each. Remainder of ground is narrow flat paving between railing and boundary fence.

Brentford are my favourite English team, part of the enjoyment though was Griffin Park is a proper old school ground with some really decent pubs less than a minute from the ground. Hopefully safe standing gets passed in England and it gets installed at Lionel Road.
Herman Hessian
new stadium on the cards for Venezia; planned to open in 2023 and to be situated on the "mainland" near Marco Polo airport; fantastically - not only will it be a football ground, but it'll have " a retail park of over 36 thousand square meters, with commercial activities, entertainment, bars and restaurants, a 4-star hotel, car parks, outdoor areas and covered areas to enable operations all year with events" so that'll be great best make plans to get over there fairly sharpish if you have any hopes of travelling to a game by boat ! looks every bit as characterful and as much of an attraction as the old place, if you ask me... HoBNob
Pleased it's been pushed further back, less of a rush and hopefully, gives some more time for Rail Seating to be allowed in England, one of the reasons I got into Brentford was the cracking stadium.

Meatwad
Work is progressing rather well at the new ground which York City will share with the local Rugby League team, York City Knights. It is due to open in the mid-2019. It's about 3 miles from Bootham Crescent so not a drastic change of scenery so to speak.
Ex Machina
The new Brentford stadium has been confirmed as having white, yellow, green, red, white and black seats scattered about with no two of the same next to each other. Apparently it's meant to make the stadium look fuller when not at capacity. Should certainly be interesting, it's not gone down well with the fans.
