Cheers, pressie from the Mrs, quite impressed with it, could've had him in a military general/Napolean outfit, but think the three piece suit, suits him. Thank you.
Melanius Mullarkey
Lovely Christmas present there. Live mouse dumped on stair landing. Luckily managed to get it into a Tupperware box.
pub car king
Does anyone have experience with a cat that keeps attacking people? Our cat was a bit bitey when we first got him, however that calmed down after a couple of weeks when we let him go out. Sadly it has returned with a vengeance. He is now attacking at least one of us on an almost daily basis without any provocation and the other day he went into a neighbours house and went for the guy who lives there. We have tried spraying him with water, hitting the floor near him with a rolled up magazine to make a loud noise and throwing him out the house every time he does it but nothing is working. I have 2 kids and as sad as they would be for him to go back to the shelter I'm not having them being afraid to walk into their own house because the cat is viscious.

Sounds a bit obvious but has he been neutered? Sometimes can be a bit wild even if they have, if it was done later than normal.

pub car king
His baws have well and truely been decommissioned. The catman video suggests he either needs lots more stimulation than we are giving him (and he gets a lot) or he's just mental. Might speak to the vet and see what they reckon.

My ex has a calico who has become more and more aggressive over the last two years. However, there is a level of contact the crazy git can tolerate from her, if not from anyone else. I can confidently say she isn’t simulating the cat enough, for a start, but there is also a bit of crazy under there too. In my experience, a laser pointer is a great starting point, and a fishing pole type toy is also a good option. On the toy, feathers are good, as are the long, floppy boas too. One trigger for her behavior was always anything entering into an area she considered her own, she was petable when she came to you, not so much when you went to her.

If the poor bastud is aggressive because he's stressed I don't think that's going to help matters. I found a ping pong ball is a good toy for cats.
pub car king
I don't think he's stressed though he seems to have a split personality he's quite cute and playful but other times he comes in and just goes for you for no reason at all. I suppose its a bit like living woth a violent husband who puts on a facade of being a great guy then just turns.

The remaining one was never that friendly with the other 2 but literally as soon as the the 2nd last died about 2 weeks ago she became bitey with me and the wife and is always looking for attention. I can only assume she played with the other cat(s) at night and now has no-one to play with so needs more attention from us.

I've had a couple of cats who started out aggressive (one because she'd been pretty terribly abused before we got her), but they all just wanted to be left alone and gradually became friendlier over a period of years - never had one who would actively attack. Does he let you trim his claws? If he doesn't properly bite, keeping the claws short and ignoring any aggressive behaviour might be the way to go. If he really sinks his teeth in and doesn't allow his claws to be trimmed, then it does sound like he might be better somewhere else - attacking the neighbour in his own home is wild.
Stellaboz
Does he have a scratchy board? That can help too with the claws.
